Just a week after my race post, I bit the bullet and got internet for my apartment. I've lived here for three years now, and lived without it... often to my annoyance. I was excited to update my blog more often, yet now it's November! Ah well.
For October at least I can play the H1N1 card, right? Boy that was nasty! I was so sure I was going to die the first night of sickness, even worse than my Alaska food poisoning! But I'm back to my normal self now, so no excuses!
So let's start again with this weekend... I got to watch the little ones on Saturday night- give them dinner AND put them to bed- not for the faint of heart. I think I have a label on my forehead only visible to little ones that says Pushover! When I was a Sunday school teacher, I could never get the kids to follow directions, and my nephews know that I don't know the rules and they get away with all kinds of things ; )
Fortunately, they both went to bed around when they should have, just not in the normal order of operations that M&S are so good about. I have to say that rocking a baby to sleep is probably one of the most lovely things there is! I love those little ones so much!
I also just bought myself the Nikon D90- (whoop!) so I expect, and you should expect that I will be posting more photos.
