Success!

I completed half-marathon #6! Bellingham Bay. I had a really good time and it was a PERFECT day for running... maybe the best ever. The one thing that's slightly disturbing to me is that my times are becoming slower and slower. I know it's because I don't train nearly as much as I should, and if I did, my times would be where they were when I started. Not that it really matters. Right? But, that might be my next goal... run two half-marathons next year and better my times!

Mom and Dad and Jenny, Anthony and Nicky came to see me run. And Mom got to try out her new zoom lens. While I'm not to keen on being photographed in spandex, for my mother, I'm willing to let her practice ; ) Dear friends and family- thank you for all the good wishes! I kept repeating to myself what Torin said right before I left for Bellingham, "Run fast!"

Way to go, Heidi! 6 half marathons is 6 more than most people do. I admire your dedication to do something so grueling.
