Saturday 23rd - We finally had some nice weather so I got to spend the afternoon doing one of my favorite things - weeding. I'm not kidding.
Sunday 24th - I'm managing a nasty cold. Again. But, I dosed up on cold meds and made it the Vegfest, put on by the Vegetarians of Washington, with two good friends from work. We had so many taste-tests that it probably equaled an entire meal! We watched a cooking demonstration to take a break from snacking. A woman who teaches Indian cooking for PCC Cooks prepared a tomato chutney and a second recipe- peanut brittle. I'll be bringing out the chutney soon - so good.
